Have you ever wondered how to create an airy, open sculpture, without the pieces collapsing or sagging? In this class, you will create a swirl of river reeds with minimal use of armatures. This allows the composition to be light, free-flowing and vibrant. Faux river rocks around the bottom and a leaping fish complete the scene.
The class will emphasize color-mixing, design, and the techniques of adding beaded accents. As always, these classes feature extensive photos and descriptions for every step of the way, and a forum to chat with Christi and the other class participants to compare notes on progress, get questions answered, and generally just share the experience as much or as little as you wish.
